How D.I.Y differs from ordinary cabinet furniture

One factory
The whole section is Fores Habitat of Spain. One factory means the decors agree across subsections: a desk, a shelving unit and a cabinet from different parts of the range will sit in one room as a set rather than as pieces that happened to end up together.

What to have ready before assembling. A cross head screwdriver and preferably a driver on a low setting: the hex key in the box works, but by the twentieth screw your hand notices. You also want clear floor area larger than the piece itself, and something soft under the parts so the fronts do not scrape on tiles. Two people are faster not because it is heavy but because the carcass has to be held square while the corners are tightened.
If you would rather not assemble
We can do the assembly for a separate charge. But with this range self assembly usually makes sense: the pieces are simple, and a desk or a shelving unit takes between half an hour and an hour.
