What to measure before ordering
Allow 60 cm of table length per person. Around the table, on the sides where people walk, you need 80 to 90 cm for a pulled out chair. If the table extends, measure the open size: that is what has to fit the room along with a walkway, not the folded one.
Chairs are bought separately
Table and chairs are separate stock lines and are not always available at the same moment. If both are needed by a particular date, check availability for both together: chairs from stock are in Chairs and armchairs.
Check whether the tabletop fits through the doorway and into the lift. A fixed 160 cm top does not come apart, and that, rather than the weight, is what delivery usually trips over.
