Why this beats a ready set in a child room

After a few years the play area leaves the room and a working area appears. A changing chest becomes an ordinary one, low shelving moves under the window, and a larger desk is needed in its place. In a modular collection you replace one piece rather than the whole room, and the new one arrives in the same decor.

The second case is a second child. A second bed and a second wardrobe from the same series are added to the existing room, and it still looks whole rather than assembled from whatever was available.

What not to buy oversized. A 90x200 bed is already adult sized and will not need replacing. A desk and chair, on the other hand, are outgrown within a year or two because they depend on height. Those are not the place to economise, and they are better bought with adjustment than with room to grow.
