MAGANDA collection
MAGANDA rests on a single black line. A band of black Lacobel glass crosses every front, and it ties the pieces together: a display cabinet, a chest and a TV unit of different heights read as one row even when they stand on separate walls.
The wood here is solid oak, not veneer alone: the factory calls the fronts solid and skins the carcasses in natural oak veneer. Not one piece carries a handle, everything releases under a push in the push to open system, so the grain is nowhere broken by metal. Behind the glass doors sits tinted Antisol glass with an LED strip lit inside.
The collection covers a living and a dining room end to end: four floor standing display cabinets, two bar cabinets, an open shelving unit, five chests and low cabinets, two TV units, two wall panels, four wall display cabinets and two shelves.
There are nine tables, which is rare even for MEBIN. Four transformers rise from 59 to 79 cm and extend to 220, and in the IV version the leaf comes out by itself. Five dining tables: from the short one at 130 to 218 cm up to the longest, MAGANDA II, which opens to 360 cm and seats fourteen. There is also a table on eight legs, 100 cm wide.
Beyond the furniture the collection has small pieces of its own: a wall clock and a weather station with a barometer and a hygrometer on a narrow oak board, a pouf with a box under the seat, and a 140 cm electric fireplace that needs no chimney.
Finish
Shape and sizes are the same in both finishes, the wood differs: natural oak is lighter and warmer, antique walnut darker and redder. The black parts are identical. The choice sits on each product page and the price is one.
