The BARI series stands apart: not a laminated board but solid oak, and such a desk matches the rest of the furniture in the same collection. The difference between a writing desk and a computer desk today is not the shape but the depth and what sits under the top. A writing desk manages with 50 cm of depth but needs drawers: paper and documents have to be within reach. A computer desk needs 60 cm or more for the monitor, and its drawers are often replaced by a pedestal on castors.
