An armchair is almost always the second purchase, added to an existing sofa, and there is a trap here: the same fabric does not guarantee the same look. Upholstery from different batches varies in shade, and at a different angle to the window the difference grows. It is easier to choose an armchair in a deliberately different colour than to try to match a tone exactly.
What to pair it with
