DRAGONFLY is a line from the Polish factory BIM in which a warm wood decor body is lifted onto a black metal frame. The furniture claims a wall, yet the clearance underneath and the open niches keep it from looking bulky.
Metal and board in one piece
The frame runs around the perimeter and carries the body on tall legs: the floor underneath stays reachable and the piece itself reads lighter. Tops in this line are thicker than a standard panel, so the edge looks solid instead of thin next to the metal.
What the line covers
Living room pieces: cased units with drawers and doors, low units for a television and tables for a seating area. All share one decor and the same black frame, so they group along a wall as one family.
Open niches
The cased furniture of the line has open levels running right through. Books, baskets and devices that need air go there, while closed storage stays behind doors.
