Bar cabinets for the living room
Bars that line up with the wall unit, classic solid oak cabinets and swivelling columns
A bar cabinet is bought for the occasion, not for storage. This section holds three different things under one word: a low bar that lines up with the wall unit of its own collection, a classic cabinet in solid oak, and a swivelling bar column whose bottle section turns outwards.
Three kinds, built differently
| Kind | Front width | Depth | Height | Factory |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bar in line with the collection | 130–155 cm | 37–39 cm | 128–132 cm | HELVETIA |
| Classic bar cabinet | 102–182 cm | 42–50 cm | 97–117 cm | MEBIN |
| Swivelling bar column | 61–69 cm | 53–69 cm | 193 cm | MEBIN |
Exact dimensions for each model are listed on its own product page.
Choosing by the space you have
If a wall unit is already in the room. Take the bar from the same collection: it shares the depth of the chest and vitrine beside it, so the fronts line up without a step.
If the bar stands on its own. A classic solid oak cabinet is deeper, 42–50 cm, and lower, and it is meant to stand as its own piece rather than in a row.
If floor space is short. A swivelling column takes under a metre of frontage but rises to 193 cm. Bear in mind the section turns outwards, so it needs clear space in front.
Worth checking before you order
Height matters more than people expect. A 193 cm column next to a low wall unit looks accidental, while beside a wardrobe or a tall vitrine it looks placed. A low bar, conversely, gets lost in the room if it stands alone against an empty wall.
Bars in this section are made by the Polish factories MEBIN and HELVETIA. Buying furniture online in Israel with delivery countrywide, assembly can be ordered together with delivery.
