Why colours drift when you buy piece by piece
The same decor name at two factories means a different shade. Even within one factory, board batches differ, and the difference shows where two pieces stand side by side in light coming from the window. In a set every piece comes from the same batch, so the question never arises.
What is included
The make-up varies from collection to collection: in one it is a bed with a wardrobe and two night stands, in another a chest is added. The exact list of pieces is given on the page of each set, and it is worth reading rather than counting from the photograph.
When a set is the wrong call. If the wardrobe will not fit the room across its width, or the door opens the wrong way, the set has to be broken up and the point of it is lost. Measure not only the floor for the bed but the wall for the wardrobe, bearing in mind that hinged doors need room in front of them. In that case build it piece by piece: a bed, a wardrobe and night stands bought separately and matched by photograph and decor name.
