A desk from the LYON collection: an oak top, a drawer and a closed section on the left, clear leg room on the right. The fronts are gloss white.

How it is built

A soft closing drawer sits on the left with a compartment behind a door under it. The right side stays fully open. No handles are fitted; the front opens by its edge. The factory makes one version only, the one photographed.

Who it suits

135 cm across the front at 65 cm deep. The top is deeper than the school standard: a monitor fits with a strip for papers in front of it and room for a lamp to one side.

Materials and finish

Dimensions: 135 cm long, 65 cm wide, 75 cm high.

Laminated chipboard with MDF fronts and edges finished all round. Finish: a light Riviera oak carcass with gloss white fronts. Tops use board with raised resistance to scratches and heat, and both runners and hinges close softly. Meble Wojcik factory, Poland.
