DIUNA 102 cm bookcase: books behind glass on wooden shelves

A tall cabinet 102 cm wide, 43 deep and 196 high. A leaf of tinted Antisol glass closes the top over full depth wooden shelves, so the spines read through the glass. The lower part stays solid. A metre of front doubles the room for books and holds a wall on its own.

Who it suits

For a study or living room where books stay on show but out of the dust. Wooden shelves carry a row of volumes, which a display cabinet glass shelf will not, and the glazed leaf keeps the library visible.

Materials and finish

The carcass is solid wood and board in natural veneer, finished in wenge. The display leaves carry tinted Antisol glass over glass shelves lit by an LED line. The curve of the front repeats in the glass, which is bent along with the frame. Push to open. Made by MEBIN, Poland.
