DIUNA transforming table: coffee height rising to dining

A table that lives two lives. At rest it is a coffee table: 130 cm long, 80 wide, 59 tall. A pneumatic lift raises the top to 77 cm and the sliding mechanism adds length to 218 cm, giving a dining table for eight.

Who it suits

For a smaller flat with no separate dining room. On an ordinary day it is a coffee table in front of the sofa, and when guests arrive it becomes a dining table in a minute without changing rooms.

Materials and finish

The top is solid wood with board in natural veneer under a lacquer that takes hot dishes and spilled alcohol. The extension inserts are finished black, so when the table is open the dark band reads as a deliberate detail rather than a joint. Wenge finish. Made by MEBIN, Poland.
