FLEXI 90 bed with trundle

A FLEXI bed for a 90 by 200 mattress with a pull out drawer that can be slept in. High sides all round: the pillow does not slide away and the wall stays clean.

How it is built

The drawer is part of the set and serves twice over: it takes a second mattress of 80 by 190 up to 15 cm thick when a friend stays the night, and works as a bedding box the rest of the time. Headboard and sides stand above the level of the mattress.

Who it suits

A room where two occasionally need to sleep, but a permanent second bed is not wanted. By day it is an ordinary single; in the evening the second place rolls out and goes back in come morning.

Materials and finish

Dimensions: 205 cm long, 95.5 cm wide, 75.5 cm high.

Carcass in laminated chipboard, fronts in MDF. The palette is white: Alpin White on the carcass, Supermat and Billbergia on the fronts, with Cool Grey added on the shelves. The horizontal grooves are milled into the fronts, not applied battens. No handles are fitted: the front is gripped by its rounded edge. Concealed hinges, drawers on ball bearing full extension runners, plastic feet. Meble Wojcik factory, Poland.
