How the bed works

A single box travels under the whole base and holds what is rarely reached for: winter duvets, sets of linen, clothes out of season. The headboard stands above the mattress and keeps the pillow in place. Its front is taken in a contrasting decor, which stops the bed reading as one solid white block.

Who it suits

120 cm of width gives the margin teenagers ask for when they ask for a wider bed. The length is exactly that of a single, so it goes into a standard room without rearranging anything.

Materials and finish

Dimensions: 205 cm long, 126 cm wide, 75.5 cm high.

Carcass in laminated chipboard, fronts in MDF. The palette is white: Alpin White on the carcass, Supermat and Billbergia on the fronts, with Cool Grey added on the shelves. The horizontal grooves are milled into the fronts, not applied battens. No handles are fitted: the front is gripped by its rounded edge.
