Chest of drawers RAVENNA B 200 cm, 3 doors and 3 drawers, white mat, black frame

A chest two metres long: a wide bay under two doors on the left, a bank of three drawers in the middle, one more door on the right. This is the longest carcase in the B range – it covers a wall on its own, without two pieces side by side and without a seam between them.

Across two metres the black frame reads strongly: it runs as one line from end to end and visually lifts a heavy carcase off the floor. On the frame the height is 89 cm, 2 cm more than the same chest on legs.

White matt does not mirror a window and gives no hot spot in photographs – on a long front that shows. Fingerprints are fainter on a matt surface than on gloss, and a dry cloth is enough to wipe it.

Who it suits

For a roomy living or dining area where one long piece is wanted rather than two short ones. Two metres cover the wall under a picture, and there is room above the chest for a wall-mounted television.

What you will like

two metres in one carcase – no joint in the middle of the wall
drawers on side rails pull out to nearly their full depth
a shelf behind each door divides the bay in two by height
no handles – the front plane is flush and nothing catches a sleeve
the black frame holds the carcase clear of the floor, which stays visible
the RAVENNA range is made in one finish, so a room can be furnished in stages

Materials and finish

Laminated chipboard in the carcase, milled foil-finished MDF on the fronts, in white mat. The support is a black steel frame. Length 200, depth 42, height 89 cm. Warranty 12 months, factory BIM Furniture, Poland.

Frequently asked questions

How is the chest arranged inside?
On the left a wide bay opened by two doors, with a shelf at half height. On the right a smaller bay of the same kind under a single door, also with a shelf. Three drawers on side rails sit in the middle.

More about this piece

Laminated chipboard

Wood particles pressed into a solid board and faced with laminate on both sides. The workhorse of cabinet furniture: holds its shape, tolerates everyday moisture, wipes clean.

MDF board

Wood fibres bonded under pressure make a panel denser than chipboard. It holds milled patterns and curved profiles, so fronts with relief are made of it.

Gloss finish

Reflects light and makes a piece look lighter. Fingerprints show more on dark gloss, so it needs wiping more often.

Matt finish

No reflections, and it hides fingerprints and light scratches. In a small room it reads calmer than gloss.

Milled front

The pattern is cut into the panel itself rather than glued on, so it is felt by hand and cannot come away.

Manufacturer warranty

The factory warranty runs 12 месяцев from delivery. It covers material and assembly defects, but not natural wear or damage caused by misuse.

Made in Poland

Shipped straight from the factory, built to European furniture manufacturing standards.
