MAJA is a furniture system from the Polish factory BIM that builds a whole bedroom: a bed, a wardrobe, chests in several widths, bedside tables, bookcases and a desk. Every piece comes in the same finishes, so anything missing can be added later and will still match.
How MAJA differs from an ordinary furniture set
The collection has no applied handles: a profile runs along the top edge of each front instead, and fingers grip that. Fronts stay smooth, clothes never catch on them, and the furniture reads calmer than it would with visible hardware. The bodies sit on a low plinth and stand flush to the wall.
What sizes there are
Chests run from narrow to wide, and in height from counter level to waist level; the depth of the cased pieces is uniform, so they line up along a wall. Bookcases and the wardrobe reach close to two metres and take the wall to the top. Exact figures are given on each product page.
Finishes
Light matt tones and warm wood decors. The finishes are shared across the collection, so a bed, a chest and bedside tables read as one suite even when bought at different times.
