Who this size suits
Couples who dislike feeling cramped, and anyone taller than 185 cm. Each person gets 80 cm of width, the same as a separate single bed. It works well for families whose children come visiting in the morning.
Check the frame length
The 200 cm length belongs to the European range. Israeli beds are more often built for 190, and a 160x200 mattress simply will not fit such a frame. Measure the frame from the inside, rail to rail: about 161 by 201 means this is your size. If the length is 191, you need 160x190.
How much room the bed takes
With a headboard and frame it occupies roughly 175 by 215 cm. To reach it from both sides, the bedroom should be at least three and a half metres along one of the walls.
Choosing the filling
