SWITCH XXIII wall unit: big display left, closed boxes right, Wotan oak with white gloss

Only 140 centimetres tall, yet the accent is large: a square display of 60 by 60 takes the left end and works as the focal point. Two narrow closed cabinets hang to the right at offset heights, a short shelf sits between them in the centre, and a 180 centimetre unit runs along the bottom.

What the set includes and what fits inside

A square WW 3 wall display cabinet, 60 by 60 centimetres and 30 deep. A glazed door with a shelf inside. What separates it from the square cabinet is exactly the glass: the contents stay on view.

A narrow SW 4 wall cabinet: 60 centimetres high, 30 wide and 25 deep. One solid handleless door, and inside a shelf splits the volume into two levels. The vertical format takes little width and sits well between display cabinets. The set has two of them.

An RTV 3 television unit 180 centimetres long, 30 high and 40 deep. Two closed compartments sit at the ends behind fronts that drop on gas struts, and between them an open niche with a glass shelf gives two levels. A console or receiver goes in the niche, and the remote reaches them through the open bay.

A PW 2 wall shelf 120 centimetres long and 20 deep. It hangs separately at any height and serves for books or small decor.

How it reads on the wall

Glass on the left, two closed volumes at differing heights on the right, the shelf holding the centre, and the unit stretching along the whole lower line. Low and drawn out: 250 centimetres wide at 140 tall and 40 deep.

Who it suits

Low ceilings and walls under a window: the set rises only 140 centimetres. The large display takes care of showing, the narrow cabinets hide the everyday, and the unit swallows the equipment.

Materials and finish

Carcass and fronts in 18 millimetre laminated chipboard with edging all round. Decor Wotan oak with white gloss. Display doors are glazed, and glass shelves sit inside the cabinets and in the open bays. No module carries a handle: everything opens on a press, and the unit fronts drop on gas struts.
