Product Overview

Display cabinet MODO 80 cm, black onyx

The vertical piece of the MODO range: 140 cm tall, 80 cm wide across the front and 35 cm deep. The finish is a deep matte black onyx, body and fronts in one tone. Two doors: the left one solid, the right one with a clear tempered glass panel, with an open niche above the glass. A glass shelf sits behind the pane, so whatever stands on it is visible from the doorway.

How it is built. A 22 mm top panel, 15 mm body, fronts and shelves, a 3 mm HDF back, ABS edging on every visible edge. Clear tempered glass 4 mm both in the door and as the shelf inside. Six overlay hinges, shelves reposition in three steps. There are no handles: you open it by the profiled front edge. It stands on six clip-on aluminium feet 20 mm high.

What arrives. Two cartons, 49 kg gross: the long one is 172.5 by 46.5 cm and only 5.5 cm thick at 23 kg, the second is 148 by 37 at 11 cm and 26 kg. The long one only fits a passenger lift diagonally, so the stairwell is worth measuring before you order.

Worth knowing. The shelves differ in load: the board one holds 5 kg, the glass one 3 kg. Glassware and ceramics go behind the glass, while books and heavy tableware belong on the three closed shelves on the left. A depth of 35 cm is modest for a display cabinet: plates, glasses and books fit easily, a 35 cm serving platter will not. The feet are 2 cm high: nothing is cleaned under the body and a robot vacuum will not drive beneath it. A black body works as a backdrop: behind clear glass, light ceramics read with more contrast than against a pale panel. Dust and fingerprints do show on matte black.

What it stands with. This cabinet is the only tall piece in MODO: everything else is a 68 or 100 cm horizontal. Next to a chest it supplies the change of height the range is collected for: the same black onyx finish covers the 150 and 200 cm chests of the range. Lighting for the display section is added as an option with the order.

Made by the Polish factory HELVETIA. We deliver and assemble ourselves, since the piece comes in many parts and is better left to our fitters. Delivery and assembly are paid separately and quoted by address.

Delivery and Assembly

Delivery Time and Shipping Cost:

Delivery and Assembly:

Attention! The cost of delivery and assembly depends on the type of furniture, delivery address, floor, elevator. Therefore the cost of delivery and assembly is set with the store representative at the time of order confirmation. Payment for supplies and the assembly is paid directly to the carrier on the day of receipt of the goods. Delivery to localities that are far from the center of the country, such as: everything further from Karmiel in the north, everything further from Beersheba in the south and Jerusalem, will charge an additional fee of 150 NIS. Delivery to Eilat will be negotiated individually, having previously checked with a customer service representative. If a crane (manof) is required to transport the goods, the client is obliged to find, order and pay for the crane services himself.

Delivery terms:

Delivery times for each product are specified separately. When calculating delivery times, only working days (from Sunday to Thursday of the week, excluding weekends, bank holidays and public holidays) from the date of receipt of payment from the customer's credit company are taken into account.
There may be delays due to sea delivery when ordering furniture from abroad, which cannot be influenced by the Supplier, in these cases the delivery time will be extended by another 30 working days and will not be considered a delay. However, suppliers make every effort to expedite delivery as much as possible, but, being unable to guarantee this, therefore, the online store is not responsible for any delays.
Furniture from the "Modular Furniture" category is modular, which reserves the right for the Supplier to make delivery as the modules arrive from the factory, within an additional 60 working days after the first delivery of the goods to the customer's home.
