Product Overview

Badger trolley table - two shelves, castors and a bin on top

Badger was designed for people who need a working surface that moves, not a piece of furniture that stays put. It is a narrow trolley on castors: two shelves with a wood finish, black metal uprights and a small round bin on the top shelf. The supplier calls it a smoking table because the bin started life as an ashtray, but in practice it ends up holding tea bags, spices or the small things that have nowhere else to go.

Who it suits

The first scenario is a balcony or terrace that needs a small table beside an armchair and somewhere to put an ashtray. The second is a kitchen, where the trolley slots into the gap between the fridge and the wall and holds spices or bottles. The third is a work corner or a student room where the furniture gets moved every week.

What you will like

Two shelves: the top one for use, the lower one for stock
A round bin on the top shelf, removable and washable
Castors, so the trolley rolls with one hand
Black metal uprights with a warm wood finish on the shelves
Only 33 centimetres deep, it fits into tight spots
Assembles without special tools

Dimensions and what fits

Width 43 centimetres, depth 33, height 57 including the castors. That height works next to a sofa, next to an armchair and alongside a kitchen counter as an extra surface. The top shelf takes a kettle and two mugs, the lower one a stack of magazines or a couple of bottles.

Materials and quality

The shelves are MDF panel with a wood finish, the uprights are metal painted black. The build is light so the trolley rolls without effort, but the uprights hold it rigid and it does not fold up while moving. Warranty 12 months.

You need a small table for the balcony, what should you take? Badger: 33 centimetres deep, on castors, with a round bin on the top shelf. You can roll it out in the evening and bring it back inside when it rains.

Can the bin be used for something other than ash? Yes, it lifts out. Owners more often keep tea bags, sugar sticks or the small items that otherwise clutter the table.

Assembly and delivery

Arrives flat packed with instructions. Assembly is simple: uprights, shelves, castors, and one person finishes in about fifteen minutes. Professional assembly can be ordered separately.

Frequently asked questions

Does the furniture arrive assembled?
No, the trolley arrives flat packed with instructions. Assembly is simple and one person can manage it. Professional assembly can be ordered separately.

Do the castors scratch the floor?
The castors are small and made for household floors. On tile and laminate they leave no marks, on thick carpet the trolley is harder to push.

Will it fit a narrow gap in the kitchen?
Depth 33 centimetres, width 43. Measure the gap: if it is wider than 45 centimetres the trolley goes in easily.
