The Viktoria Auto set: the table opens itself

What separates this set from the ordinary Viktoria is the mechanism. The top parts automatically, the leaf rises from inside, and there is no pulling halves apart by hand. For a table opened every Friday the difference tells. The set has six chairs.

Who it suits

A home where the table is opened often rather than twice a year. A second case is a family with older members who find pulling a top apart hard work. A third is anyone who has fought a stiff mechanism on an old table and would rather not repeat it.

What you will like

Automatic mechanism: the top parts without effort
The leaf lives inside the table, with nothing to store separately
Six chairs included, the shade matched to the top
Closed the table is 130 centimetres, open 160
Height 80 centimetres

Dimensions and what fits

Closed the table measures 130 by 80 centimetres and stands 80 high; opened it runs to 160. An addition of 30 centimetres: this is an everyday dining table that occasionally needs room for two more, not a banqueting table. Closed it seats four to six, open six with room to spare.

The chairs in the set

Six Viktoria chairs, exactly the ones that come with the standard Viktoria set. Choosing between the two sets needs no comparison of chairs: they are identical, and the difference sits in the table mechanism alone.

Materials and quality

MDF top with a marble print, metal legs. Made in Turkey. The mechanism is the only difference from the standard Viktoria; top and chairs are identical.

Frequently asked questions

Is the mechanism electric?
No, it is mechanical. The two halves of the top are linked and the leaf comes out with them at a light pull. No socket needed.

Why is it better than the ordinary one?
There is no pulling two halves apart and fitting a separate board. If the table is opened often, you feel it.

Does the furniture arrive assembled?
No, it ships flat packed in cartons. An assembly service is chosen in the delivery option on this page.

More about this piece

MDF board

Wood fibres bonded under pressure make a panel denser than chipboard. It holds milled patterns and curved profiles, so fronts with relief are made of it.

Metal supports

Metal legs or a frame carry weight better than plastic and do not work loose. On cabinet furniture the gap underneath also lets you clean below the piece.

Made in Israel

Built at a local factory, so lead times are shorter and service and spare parts are close at hand.
