JANTAR dining table 130-218 cm: compact on weekdays, long for guests

The junior extending table of the collection and the one that fits an Israeli flat best, where the dining area is part of the living room. Closed it takes 130 cm and does not turn the room into a dining hall; for guests it stretches to 218. A depth of 80 cm is ten centimetres less than the senior models, and those ten centimetres decide whether a walkway survives around the table.

Who it suits

A flat with living and dining combined. A couple or a household of three to four who need a big table a few times a year. And anyone whose room is a thoroughfare: at 80 cm deep more free space remains around the table than at ninety.

Size and how many will sit

130 cm closed and 218 open, 80 cm deep, 76 cm high. On weekdays four sit comfortably, with room for two more at the ends. Extended, the table takes up to eight people, reckoning sixty centimetres per place.

How it sits in the room

With chairs and a walkway the closed table wants about 290 by 240 cm. Extended it adds nearly ninety centimetres of length, worth checking in advance: it is usually not the table that catches but a chair pulled back. The factory does not describe the extension mechanism and we are asking the supplier.

Who delivers and sets it up?
Our fitters: we bring it and put it in place. The furniture is solid wood and heavy — check the doorway, stairs and lift in advance.

How does it differ from the 160-240 model?
In size. Here it is 130 by 80 cm closed against 160 by 90, and the extended length is shorter: 218 against 240. Finish and construction are shared.

Is it hard to extend alone?
The factory does not publish the mechanism, so we will not promise one handed ease. We will check at assembly and report back.

Attention! The cost of delivery and assembly depends on the type of furniture, delivery address, floor, elevator. Therefore the cost of delivery and assembly is set with the store representative at the time of order confirmation. Payment for supplies and the assembly is paid directly to the carrier on the day of receipt of the goods. Delivery to localities that are far from the center of the country, such as: everything further from Karmiel in the north, everything further from Beersheba in the south and Jerusalem, will charge an additional fee of 150 NIS. Delivery to Eilat will be negotiated individually, having previously checked with a customer service representative. If a crane (manof) is required to transport the goods, the client is obliged to find, order and pay for the crane services himself.

Delivery terms:

Delivery times for each product are specified separately. When calculating delivery times, only working days (from Sunday to Thursday of the week, excluding weekends, bank holidays and public holidays) from the date of receipt of payment from the customer's credit company are taken into account.
There may be delays due to sea delivery when ordering furniture from abroad, which cannot be influenced by the Supplier, in these cases the delivery time will be extended by another 30 working days and will not be considered a delay. However, suppliers make every effort to expedite delivery as much as possible, but, being unable to guarantee this, therefore, the online store is not responsible for any delays.
Furniture from the "Modular Furniture" category is modular, which reserves the right for the Supplier to make delivery as the modules arrive from the factory, within an additional 60 working days after the first delivery of the goods to the customer's home.

Returns/Exchanges and Cancellations Policy

Returns / Exchanges / Cancellations

Cancellations: If you wish to cancel the order, it can be canceled within 24 hours without a cancellation fee, after which a cancellation of a transaction will be charged a cancellation fee of approximately 35% of the total order.

Return: Furniture cannot be returned as they are custom imported.

Replacements: If you ordered an item and it turned out that it was not the right size, you can arrange a replacement as needed, provided that the manufacturer allows you to change the size of this model.
