AWINION 170 cm chest: three doors and a drawer in the centre column

The widest chest of the range: 170 cm across the front, 82 tall, 45 deep. A tall full height door closes either side, while the middle carries a column of one drawer above one door. Two shelves inside. The white field of the fronts is cut by a walnut toned oak veneer top.

What it consists of

The factory describes the piece as follows: 3 doors, 1 drawer, 2 shelves, overlay hinges without a soft close, drawer runners with a soft close and partial extension, steel handles in an old gold finish, the base is a plinth.

Who it suits

A dining room or a generous hallway that needs a long surface for vases and a lamp, with real volume underneath. Three doors split the inside into readable zones, so the china and the table linen stay apart. The upper drawer takes the small things that get reached for daily. In Israeli flats a chest like this usually pairs with the dining table.

Materials and finish

The carcass and the fronts are MDF board faced with oak veneer outside and alder veneer inside, in white 18. The top is furniture board in oak veneer, Italian walnut 11, and the cornice is solid oak in the same tone. The drawer box is laminated board and the finish is matt. MEBDOM factory, Poland.

Does the drawer close softly?
Yes, the runners carry a soft close. The extension is partial: the back quarter of the drawer stays inside the body, so the far corner takes a reach.

What goes behind the side doors?
There are only two shelves in the whole chest, which leaves the compartments tall: stacks of plates, carafes, boxes standing upright.

Do the doors have a soft close too?
No, they run on plain overlay hinges. The soft close here belongs to the drawer alone.

What are the handles like?
A steel ring on a shaped backplate in an old gold finish, the same one on every piece of the range.

Attention! The cost of delivery and assembly depends on the type of furniture, delivery address, floor, elevator. Therefore the cost of delivery and assembly is set with the store representative at the time of order confirmation. Payment for supplies and the assembly is paid directly to the carrier on the day of receipt of the goods. Delivery to localities that are far from the center of the country, such as: everything further from Karmiel in the north, everything further from Beersheba in the south and Jerusalem, will charge an additional fee of 150 NIS. Delivery to Eilat will be negotiated individually, having previously checked with a customer service representative. If a crane (manof) is required to transport the goods, the client is obliged to find, order and pay for the crane services himself.

Delivery terms:

Delivery times for each product are specified separately. When calculating delivery times, only working days (from Sunday to Thursday of the week, excluding weekends, bank holidays and public holidays) from the date of receipt of payment from the customer's credit company are taken into account.
There may be delays due to sea delivery when ordering furniture from abroad, which cannot be influenced by the Supplier, in these cases the delivery time will be extended by another 30 working days and will not be considered a delay. However, suppliers make every effort to expedite delivery as much as possible, but, being unable to guarantee this, therefore, the online store is not responsible for any delays.
Furniture from the "Modular Furniture" category is modular, which reserves the right for the Supplier to make delivery as the modules arrive from the factory, within an additional 60 working days after the first delivery of the goods to the customer's home.
