FLY H2: a compact set with a glass cabinet, gloss white

A short 160 centimetre composition where a cabinet glazed to full height stands in place of a solid one. One narrow lit column and a long unit beneath the screen, nothing more.

What it consists of

A module holding two shelves of glass under blue lighting, glazed across its whole door. A lower module of three compartments, its door resting on supports. Two wall shelves.

Who it suits

A compact living room in which the furniture doubles as decoration. The cabinet takes little width, and after dark it puts a soft light beside the screen.

Materials and finish

A chipboard core with glossy white doors set against a matt body. Handleless fronts that open on a press.

How much goes into the cabinet?
Three levels: two shelves of glass split the volume in three.

Will the glass catch reflections from the screen?
The cabinet stands to the side and rarely throws back a direct reflection.

Frequently asked questions

How bright is the lighting?
It is an accent light and will not illuminate the room.

Can it hang above a radiator?
The lower unit is better kept away from a heat source, warmth harms the board.

More about this piece

Laminated chipboard

Wood particles pressed into a solid board and faced with laminate on both sides. The workhorse of cabinet furniture: holds its shape, tolerates everyday moisture, wipes clean.

Gloss finish

Reflects light and makes a piece look lighter. Fingerprints show more on dark gloss, so it needs wiping more often.

Matt finish

No reflections, and it hides fingerprints and light scratches. In a small room it reads calmer than gloss.

Wall-mounted

Fixed to the wall with clear floor beneath: easier cleaning, lighter-looking room. Fixings depend on your wall type and are not supplied.

Made in Poland

Shipped straight from the factory, built to European furniture manufacturing standards.
