SWITCH II wall unit: two units and a symmetrical layout, Wotan oak with white gloss

This version puts two units below the screen. The composition comes out long and low, with a wide working surface underneath.

What the set includes and what fits inside

An SW 2 column cabinet, a vertical module 120 centimetres tall, 30 to 40 wide and 30 deep. Two shelves inside give three compartments behind a solid side hung door. Handy for books, files and tableware that is not meant for display. The set includes two of them.

An RTV 2 television unit 120 centimetres long, 30 high and 40 deep. The front drops on struts with two compartments inside. Two of them hang in one line to make a base 240 centimetres long. The set includes two of them.

A PW 1 wall shelf 180 centimetres long, 20 deep and about 2 thick. Open, without a lip, it holds books, frames and decor.

A short PW 3 wall shelf 60 centimetres long and 20 deep. It completes the composition where a long shelf will not fit.

A square SW 3 wall cabinet, 60 by 60 centimetres and 30 deep. One shelf inside behind a solid side hung door with no glass. A closed section: the outside reads as a flat plane and the contents stay hidden.

How it reads on the wall

The columns take the ends, the square cabinet rises above, and the base is two units butted together, so it comes out long and level. The set measures 270 by 160 by 40 centimetres.

Who it suits

A room where equipment and small things pile up fast: two units give twice the closed volume under the screen.

Buying furniture online saves time: the set reaches Israel straight from the factory, with no middle warehouse.

Materials and finish

Carcass and fronts in 18 millimetre laminated chipboard with edging all round. Decor Wotan oak with white gloss. The unit fronts are milled: diagonal grooves in the same decor run across the surface, giving relief and shadow. No module carries a handle: everything opens on a press, so the fronts read as continuous planes. ASM Meble factory, Poland.

Frequently asked questions

More about this piece

Laminated chipboard

Wood particles pressed into a solid board and faced with laminate on both sides. The workhorse of cabinet furniture: holds its shape, tolerates everyday moisture, wipes clean.

Gloss finish

Reflects light and makes a piece look lighter. Fingerprints show more on dark gloss, so it needs wiping more often.

Milled front

The pattern is cut into the panel itself rather than glued on, so it is felt by hand and cannot come away.

Wall-mounted

Fixed to the wall with clear floor beneath: easier cleaning, lighter-looking room. Fixings depend on your wall type and are not supplied.

Made in Poland

Shipped straight from the factory, built to European furniture manufacturing standards.
