Cabinet furniture

Hanging wall unit SWITCH M1, Wotan oak: display cabinets, a unit and a metal shelf

The widest composition in the range: 330 centimetres of wall. A long television unit on the left, a full length shelf above it, and on the right a group of two lit display cabinets and a solid cupboard. A black metal shelf cuts into that group and ties the furniture to the wall.

What the set includes and what fits inside

A narrow WW 4 wall display cabinet: 60 centimetres high, 30 wide and 25 deep. The door is glazed and a glass shelf inside makes two levels. What separates it from the narrow cabinet is exactly the glass: whatever stands inside is visible from outside. The set includes two of them.

An RTV 1 television unit 180 centimetres long, 30 high and 40 deep. The front drops down on struts and stays open, with three compartments inside. A set-top box, a console, a soundbar and the cabling all fit. The set includes one.

An RM 8 metal shelf, long horizontal: 31 centimetres high, 180 wide and 25 deep. An open frame in matt black metal with a single shelf inside, no doors and no back panel. The set includes one.

A PW 1 wall shelf 180 centimetres long, 20 deep and about 2 thick. Open, without a lip, it holds books, frames and decor. The set includes one.

A square SW 3 wall cabinet, 60 by 60 centimetres and 30 deep. One shelf inside behind a solid side hung door with no glass. A closed section: the outside reads as a flat plane and the contents stay hidden. The set includes one.

How it reads on the wall

The unit and shelf form the left block, the display cabinets and cupboard cluster on the right, and the metal shelf runs straight through them. The height is 180 centimetres and the depth 40.

Who it suits

For a wide lounge whose long wall stands empty: 330 centimetres have to be filled, and breaking the wall into small pieces is not what you want here.

Israeli buyers order these Polish ranges through our shop page, and a width like this is safer to check against measurements.

Materials and finish

Carcasses and fronts in 18 millimetre laminated chipboard with edging all round: carcasses and fronts in Wotan oak. The open shelves are built on a matt black metal frame, and that black is the same across all three finishes. No module carries a handle: everything opens on a press, and the unit fronts drop on gas struts. Blue LED lighting comes with the set and is included in the price. ASM Meble factory, Poland.

Frequently asked questions

Is the metal shelf included?
Yes, the black RM 8 metal shelf 180 centimetres long comes with the set.

What television suits the unit?
The unit is 180 centimetres long, so a diagonal up to 75 inches looks proportionate.

Are both display cabinets lit?
Yes, a blue LED strip is fitted in each of the two.

More about this piece

Laminated chipboard

Wood particles pressed into a solid board and faced with laminate on both sides. The workhorse of cabinet furniture: holds its shape, tolerates everyday moisture, wipes clean.

Gloss finish

Reflects light and makes a piece look lighter. Fingerprints show more on dark gloss, so it needs wiping more often.

Matt finish

No reflections, and it hides fingerprints and light scratches. In a small room it reads calmer than gloss.

Wall-mounted

Fixed to the wall with clear floor beneath: easier cleaning, lighter-looking room. Fixings depend on your wall type and are not supplied.

Made in Poland

Shipped straight from the factory, built to European furniture manufacturing standards.
