Hanging wall unit SWITCH M5, Wotan oak: a tall cupboard, a unit and a square frame

Vertical meets horizontal: a tall 180 centimetre cupboard stands beside a long unit, a square metal frame hangs between them, and two shelves of different length place the accents. The composition takes 270 centimetres.

What the set includes and what fits inside

An RM 3 metal shelf, square: 60 centimetres high, 60 wide and 25 deep. An open frame in matt black metal with a single shelf inside, no doors and no back panel. The set includes one.

A short PW 3 wall shelf 60 centimetres long and 20 deep. It completes the composition where a long shelf will not fit. The set includes one.

A PW 1 wall shelf 180 centimetres long, 20 deep and about 2 thick. Open, without a lip, it holds books, frames and decor. The set includes one.

An SW 1 column cabinet, a narrow vertical module 40 centimetres wide, 180 tall and 30 deep. Three shelves inside make four compartments over the full height. The door is side hung, handleless, and opens on a press. This takes what should stay within reach but out of sight: papers, chargers, boxes, board games. The set includes one.

An RTV 3 television unit 180 centimetres long, 30 high and 40 deep. Two closed compartments sit at the ends behind fronts that drop on gas struts, and between them an open niche with a glass shelf gives two levels. How it reads on the wall

The tall cupboard claims the left edge over its full height, the unit and shelves continue to the right, and the square frame hangs at the junction. The asymmetry here is deliberate.

Materials and finish

Carcasses and fronts in 18 millimetre laminated chipboard with edging all round: carcasses and fronts in Wotan oak. The open shelves are built on a matt black metal frame, and that black is the same across all three finishes.
