Product Overview

SWITCH XIII wall unit: three display cabinets in sequence, white gloss with Wotan oak

Three vertical display cabinets stand in sequence and form a clear band above a long unit, the most glazed set of these six.

What the set includes and what fits inside

A WW 2 wall display cabinet, a vertical module 40 centimetres wide, 120 tall and 30 deep. The door is glazed and shelves sit inside, so the contents show from outside. It takes tableware, glassware, keepsakes and anything worth seeing. The set includes three of them.

An RTV 1 television unit 180 centimetres long, 30 high and 40 deep. The front drops down on struts and stays open, with three compartments inside. A set-top box, a console, a soundbar and the cabling all fit.

A square SW 3 wall cabinet, 60 by 60 centimetres and 30 deep. One shelf inside behind a solid side hung door with no glass. A closed section: the outside reads as a flat plane and the contents stay hidden.

How it reads on the wall

Three display cabinets stand in sequence and form a clear band, a square cabinet sits beside them while the long unit runs underneath. This set carries more glass than any of the six. It stretches to 330 centimetres, rises to 160 and stands 40 off the wall.

Who it suits

A collector, or a household that keeps its tableware in sight. Six glass levels in sequence take a substantial collection.

Buying furniture online makes it possible to compare the glazed and the closed versions of one range side by side.

Materials and finish

Carcass and fronts in 18 millimetre laminated chipboard with edging all round. Decor white gloss with Wotan oak. No module carries a handle: everything opens on a press, so the fronts read as continuous planes. Blue LED lighting is included in the set and in its price: it sits inside the display cabinets and lights the glass shelves. ASM Meble factory, Poland.

Frequently asked questions

Will three cabinets overload the wall?
They take about 120 centimetres out of 330, the rest is closed volume and shelving.

Is there lighting?
Not in this model; the glass works by daylight.
