XARI G2-K: a live flame at the centre of the unit, Szara Glina

A short composition over 160 centimetres in which the middle of the unit is given to a bio fireplace. The flame burns bioethanol and needs neither a flue nor permits, so the set goes up in an ordinary flat.

What it consists of

Two drop down flaps sit at the ends of the unit, a compartment behind each for equipment and small things. The centre is taken by a metal burner with a rectangular flame window. A wall panel with a diagonal pattern hangs above and carries the screen. The set is 40 centimetres deep and weighs 51 kg.

Who it suits

For a living room that wants a live flame in the evening and has little room to spare. Screen and fire in one plane works in a bedroom too, provided the room is aired regularly.

Materials and finish

Chipboard with a laminate face. The carcass carries the Szara Glina tone, a muted grey with a warm note, the inserts come in Artisan oak, and the stripes on the panel are black and printed onto the board rather than milled. ASM Meble factory, Poland, twelve month guarantee.
