Water filter AQUAPHOR Crystal A under sink, three stages

Water filter AQUAPHOR Crystal A under sink, three stages

A flow filter for drinking water that sits under the sink with a separate tap on the worktop. The housing holds three replaceable modules: K5, K2 and K7. The capacity is 6000 litres at 2,5 litres a minute, and the water leaves the system free of scale.

How it works. K5 comes first, a polypropylene pre-filter that holds back sand, rust and other particles and so protects the two following modules from clogging early. K2 handles the sorption stage and K7 completes it and conditions the water. That sequence is what makes Crystal A the answer for water carrying a lot of mechanical sediment.

Worth knowing. Cartridges are replaced at least once a year, and the first, mechanical one every three to six months: it works in the hardest conditions and blocks sooner than the others. If contamination enters the mains, replacement comes early rather than by the calendar. Installation is chosen as an option with the order for anyone who would rather not fit it themselves.

What it stands with. The filter takes space in the cabinet under the sink and needs a clear corner the height of the housing plus room to change cartridges. The tap is included, and a hole is drilled in the worktop for it or an existing one is used.
