Product Overview

BIMOTION pedestal: an open niche above, a door below

A small pedestal on castors that lives under the desktop and rolls out when needed. An open niche on top takes what you reach for ten times a day, and a closed compartment sits behind a door below. Finished in black matt with castors to match the body.

Who it suits

A companion to the sit-stand desk: a height-adjustable desk cannot carry a fixed pedestal, and a rolling one solves that. On its own it suits any writing desk from 120 cm wide.

What you will like

castors, so the pedestal rolls out and tucks back under the desk
an open niche on top for a notebook and headphones
a closed compartment below for whatever should stay out of sight
59 cm of height, clearing the desktop even at its lowest setting
a 41 by 40 cm footprint that takes almost no floor

41 cm across the front and 40 cm deep, so the pedestal never sticks out past the edge of the top. Its 59 cm height is matched to the lowest setting of the lifting desk, so it always slides underneath.

Will the pedestal suit a fixed desk rather than an adjustable one? Yes, at 59 cm it clears any top standing at the usual 75 cm.

What fits into the closed compartment? A4 binders upright, a ream of paper, chargers and small devices. Inside there is one compartment with no shelf.

Materials and finish

Body and front are 16 mm laminated board in black matt with castors to match. Warranty 12 months. BIM Furniture, Poland.

Frequently asked questions

Will the castors scratch a parquet floor?
The castors are plastic and made for hard floors, but on unsealed parquet any rolling furniture eventually leaves a trace, so a mat goes underneath.

Can the pedestal be locked in place?
The factory states no brake on the castors: it is meant to roll and stays where it is pushed.

Delivery and Assembly

Delivery Time and Shipping Cost:

Delivery and Assembly:

Attention! The cost of delivery and assembly depends on the type of furniture, delivery address, floor, elevator. Therefore the cost of delivery and assembly is set with the store representative at the time of order confirmation. Payment for supplies and the assembly is paid directly to the carrier on the day of receipt of the goods. Delivery to localities that are far from the center of the country, such as: everything further from Karmiel in the north, everything further from Beersheba in the south and Jerusalem, will charge an additional fee of 150 NIS. Delivery to Eilat will be negotiated individually, having previously checked with a customer service representative. If a crane (manof) is required to transport the goods, the client is obliged to find, order and pay for the crane services himself.

Delivery terms:

Delivery times for each product are specified separately. When calculating delivery times, only working days (from Sunday to Thursday of the week, excluding weekends, bank holidays and public holidays) from the date of receipt of payment from the customer's credit company are taken into account.
There may be delays due to sea delivery when ordering furniture from abroad, which cannot be influenced by the Supplier, in these cases the delivery time will be extended by another 30 working days and will not be considered a delay. However, suppliers make every effort to expedite delivery as much as possible, but, being unable to guarantee this, therefore, the online store is not responsible for any delays.
Furniture from the "Modular Furniture" category is modular, which reserves the right for the Supplier to make delivery as the modules arrive from the factory, within an additional 60 working days after the first delivery of the goods to the customer's home.
