Product Overview
FOLDI: a pouf by day, a single bed by night
A compact pouf made in Israel by Camp David that folds out into a 68 by 181 cm sleeping surface. The mattress is built in, a pillow and a backrest come with it, and under the seat there is a box that takes the duvet. Folded, it is an ordinary pouf on black metal legs and does not look like spare furniture.

Who it suits
A safe room, a guest room, a rented flat, an office. The situation is always the same: a bed is needed occasionally, while floor space is taken permanently. FOLDI solves this without a sofa bed, which is bulky, and without a folding cot that has to be stored somewhere. Opening it is faster than making up a sofa.
How it works
The folding mechanism is quick and one person manages alone. Closed, you sit on the pouf; opened, you get a proper single bed with a backrest and a pillow. The mattress is built in, nothing needs buying separately. The upholstery fabric does not absorb dirt and is easy to clean, and the pouf itself is light enough to move between rooms or take along when you move house.
About the sleeping size
A width of 68 cm and a length of 181 cm make a compact single bed. For a guest staying a night or two it is fine; for everyday sleeping by a tall adult it is worth looking at full size mattresses of 90 by 190.
Why is it better than a sofa bed? The pouf takes less room when closed and needs no clearance in front of it to open. The sleeping surface comes out flat, without the seam in the middle that most sofas have.
What fits in the box? A duvet and a pillow, so the bedding lives inside the pouf itself and does not take a shelf in the wardrobe. Handy when guests come rarely.
Delivery
The pouf is made in Israel and takes 21-30 working days. We deliver across the country; carrying it up to your floor is charged separately and shown at checkout.
Frequently asked
Can it be slept on every day?
The mattress is built in and made for regular use, but the surface is compact: 68 by 181 cm. For daily sleeping by an adult, compare it with a normal single bed.
Is it hard to open?
No, the mechanism is designed for daily use and one person manages alone.
Does it arrive assembled?
Yes, it comes ready to use, nothing to put together.
Delivery and Assembly
Delivery Time and Shipping Cost:
Delivery and Assembly:
Attention! The cost of delivery and assembly depends on the type of furniture, delivery address, floor, elevator. Therefore the cost of delivery and assembly is set with the store representative at the time of order confirmation. Payment for supplies and the assembly is paid directly to the carrier on the day of receipt of the goods. Delivery to localities that are far from the center of the country, such as: everything further from Karmiel in the north, everything further from Beersheba in the south and Jerusalem, will charge an additional fee of 150 NIS. Delivery to Eilat will be negotiated individually, having previously checked with a customer service representative. If a crane (manof) is required to transport the goods, the client is obliged to find, order and pay for the crane services himself.
Delivery times for each product are specified separately. When calculating delivery times, only working days (from Sunday to Thursday of the week, excluding weekends, bank holidays and public holidays) from the date of receipt of payment from the customer's credit company are taken into account.
There may be delays due to sea delivery when ordering furniture from abroad, which cannot be influenced by the Supplier, in these cases the delivery time will be extended by another 30 working days and will not be considered a delay. However, suppliers make every effort to expedite delivery as much as possible, but, being unable to guarantee this, therefore, the online store is not responsible for any delays.
Furniture from the "Modular Furniture" category is modular, which reserves the right for the Supplier to make delivery as the modules arrive from the factory, within an additional 60 working days after the first delivery of the goods to the customer's home.
