Product Overview

MAJA S8 140 cm chest with eight drawers in two columns

The roomiest chest in the range: eight drawers, four in each of two columns. This is no longer an addition to a wardrobe but a storage piece in its own right, taking the whole folded side of a wardrobe. Finished in cashmere with smooth fronts and no applied handles.

Who it suits

For a couple's bedroom where the wardrobe is given to hanging clothes and everything foldable lives apart. The second option is a dressing room, with the chest in the middle and reachable from two sides.

What you will like

eight drawers in two columns of four
140 cm of length, the widest body in the collection
104 cm tall, so the top drawer opens without stooping
profile handles along the upper edge of each front
40 cm depth, holding a stack two rows wide

140 by 40 cm takes almost a whole wall of a small bedroom, but it settles the storage question completely. In capacity it roughly equals two 90 cm chests.

How much goes into the MAJA S8 chest? Eight drawers hold a folded seasonal wardrobe for two: knitwear, underwear, loungewear and household textiles.

Will the chest pass through a doorway? The body arrives flat, so a width of 140 cm is no obstacle to the door frame.

Materials and finish

Laminated board 16 mm in cashmere with a back in the body colour. Warranty 12 months. BIM Furniture, Poland.

Frequently asked questions

Are the bottom drawers awkward to open?
The lower row starts close to the floor and is easier to reach from a crouch. It usually holds what gets used least often.

Will the top carry the weight of a television?
The upper panel rests on the sides and a central divider, so the load spreads evenly.
