Buy Chest of drawers RAVENNA B 150 cm, 2 doors and 3 drawers, black mat, black legs

RAVENNA B 150: two doors and three drawers in one carcase

A chest 150 cm long: two hinged doors at the sides and a bank of three drawers in the middle. There is not a single handle - a door opens from its lower edge, a drawer is pulled by the edge of its face. Because of that the relief runs across the front unbroken, undivided by fittings.

All in black mat, sides included: the piece reads as a silhouette and the fluting shows as stripes where light meets shadow. The support is four turned black metal legs, barely visible on a dark floor.

Who it suits

Placed in a living room instead of a sideboard, or in a bedroom instead of a tall chest. The drawers take what otherwise lies about: papers, chargers, small gadgets. Behind the doors is a shelf for crockery or bed linen.

What you will like

• two hinged doors at the sides, a shelf behind each
• three drawers in the middle, on side rails
• handleless fronts: the relief runs as one band
• a depth of 42 cm keeps the chest inside a doorway line
• a drawer pulls out nearly fully; you reach its back by hand

Length 150 cm, depth 42 cm, height 87 cm. The top takes a lamp and a stack of books; it holds 25 kg, so a television up to 55 inches on its stand sits there comfortably.

What it stands with

This is the range bestseller: 150 cm fits between window and door in a typical living room, where a 200 chest would already meet the architrave. Alongside it people take the 150 television unit from the same range: one finish, one support height, and along a wall the two read as a single piece split by a doorway. Black is chosen for contrast with pale walls: the piece becomes the main thing in the room rather than a background.

How much goes into the RAVENNA B 150 chest? Three drawers in the middle and two bays with shelves at the sides: the volume of a standard six-drawer chest, except that some of it sits on a shelf behind a door rather than in a drawer.

How does RAVENNA B differ from other milled chests? By the ribs running across the whole front, drawers included, without breaking at the joints. Most models mill the doors only, and the drawers fall out of the pattern.
