SLIDE sideboard 144 cm, golden oak

A 144 cm sideboard at 85 cm tall whose doors travel sideways. Two mesh panels run along the face, closing either the central drawers or the end niches.

Who it suits

It goes where a hinged door would not open: in a walkway, beside a dining table, facing a sofa. At 85 cm it is comfortable to use standing.

What you will like

two sliding mesh doors, three central drawers and a shelved niche at each end
144 x 39 x 85 cm
doors slide sideways instead of swinging open
a front of black metal mesh
black splayed legs

Size and what fits

144 cm long, 39 cm deep, 85 cm high. Three drawers in the centre and an open shelved niche at each end. The mesh panels move along the face, so what is hidden and what is on show is up to you, and can change any day.

Materials and finish

The carcase is finished in a golden oak with pronounced grain, with black frames and mesh. The doors run sideways on a track, so no clearance is needed in front. PIASKI publishes no board or surface for this collection, so we leave the specification blank. Warranty 12 months.

What it stands with

The longest piece here. The SZ-100 display cabinet is nearly twice as tall and narrower, and the RTV-180 TV unit is 31 cm lower.

Why a sliding door rather than a hinged one? It needs no space in front. A 50 cm hinged door wants half a metre of clear floor; a sliding door travels along the face, so the piece can stand in a walkway or right opposite a sofa.

What shows through the mesh? Shape and colour, not detail. China behind the mesh reads as a silhouette; labels and lettering do not. So the mesh suits things pleasant to half-see, while papers and boxes go in the drawers.

Assembly and delivery

The furniture is made by the Polish factory PIASKI. We deliver and assemble it ourselves: it comes in many parts and the on-site fitting is best left to our team. Delivery and assembly are paid separately and quoted for your address.

Frequently asked questions

Does the furniture arrive assembled?
No, it arrives flat-packed and we assemble it.

Does the mesh let dust through?
It does: the weave is open and dust reaches the inside as it would an open shelf. In exchange the panel neither glares nor shows fingerprints, unlike glass.

We deliver across Israel. In Tel Aviv and the surrounding area delivery is routine; for outlying districts we plan the route in advance and give you a date before you order.
