Product Overview

RAVENNA 140 with a fireplace: fire between two doors

The fireplace here is neither an add-on nor a separate build-in: the insert sits in the middle of the sideboard behind frameless glass, and the fire shows from edge to edge. Two milled doors flank it with shelves inside. The single finish here: black matt with artisan oak.

Who it suits

In a home with no flue that still wants live flame. A sideboard 86 cm tall stands against the wall opposite the sofa, and the flame lands where a seated gaze falls rather than at their feet.

What you will like

the electric insert is already inside, nothing to buy on top
frameless front glass, so no frame cuts across the picture of fire
two doors at the sides with shelves behind them
a separate closed compartment under the insert
handleless fronts that open on a push

Length 139.5 cm, depth 40 cm, height 86 cm. The 58.4 cm insert takes the middle, and each side section runs to about half a metre.

Does the RAVENNA fireplace sideboard heat the room? Yes, two modes: the picture of fire alone, and fire with heating up to 2 kW. A thermostat holds between 17 and 27 degrees.

Is a flue or an extractor needed? No. The insert is electric with no combustion products, so the sideboard goes against any wall and plugs into an ordinary 220 V socket.

Materials and finish

Carcass in laminated board, fronts in milled MDF, metal legs. Finish: black matt with artisan oak. The electric insert is included: 1800 to 2000 W, a remote and a control panel, flame control, a thermostat of 17 to 27 °C, timers and an open-window sensor, a fuel bed of burning logs. No flue is needed; the insert measures 58.4 by 13 by 43.6 cm. Warranty 24 months on the insert and 12 on the furniture. BIM Furniture, Poland.

Frequently asked questions

Does the glass get hot with children around?
The panel is warm rather than scorching: heat leaves through the grille on top, not the glass.

Can the flame run without heating in summer?
Yes, the modes are independent: the picture of fire switches on separately from the heater. In summer only the flame usually runs.

Delivery and Assembly:

Attention! The cost of delivery and assembly depends on the type of furniture, delivery address, floor, elevator. Therefore the cost of delivery and assembly is set with the store representative at the time of order confirmation. Payment for supplies and the assembly is paid directly to the carrier on the day of receipt of the goods. If a crane (manof) is required to transport the goods, the client is obliged to find, order and pay for the crane services himself.

There may be delays due to sea delivery when ordering furniture from abroad, which cannot be influenced by the Supplier, in these cases the delivery time will be extended by another 30 working days and will not be considered a delay. However, suppliers make every effort to expedite delivery as much as possible, but, being unable to guarantee this, therefore, the online store is not responsible for any delays.
Furniture from the "Modular Furniture" category is modular, which reserves the right for the Supplier to make delivery as the modules arrive from the factory, within an additional 60 working days after the first delivery of the goods to the customer's home.
