Product Overview

BIM Natural Desk: an adjustable desk with an oak top

The same lifting frame as the BIMOTION line, except the top here is faced with natural oak veneer and soaked in a plant-oil finish. The wood still feels like wood: the grain shows and the growth rings can be felt under a hand. Legs finished in white frame.

Who it suits

For a study where the desk is on show and should read as furniture rather than office equipment. The 160 by 80 size is chosen for two monitors with papers beside them.

What you will like

a top faced in natural oak veneer rather than printed foil
a plant-oil finish that leaves the surface matt and warm
electric lifting across a range of 75 to 123 cm
a powder-coated metal frame
three top sizes, up to 160 by 80 cm

The working surface runs 160 by 80 cm, and the height moves between 75 and 123 cm. The lower figure sits slightly below the BIMOTION line, which shorter people notice: choosing a chair gets easier.

How does veneer differ from laminated board? Veneer is a thin layer of real timber: the pattern never repeats from desk to desk and the surface feels warm. Laminate is printed, so its pattern is identical everywhere.

Does an oiled top need care? Dust comes off with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Once a year or so the surface is refreshed with wood oil and looks new again.

Materials and finish

A powder-coated metal frame in white frame. The top is board faced with natural oak veneer and soaked in a natural-oil finish. Warranty 12 months. BIM Furniture, Poland.

Frequently asked questions

Will a cup leave a ring on the wood?
An oil finish holds moisture only briefly, so a spill is best wiped at once. Hot items go on a mat, as on any timber surface.

Will two desks share the same oak colour?
No, and that is the nature of real veneer: neighbouring desks differ in pattern and tone. Only printed decors come out identical.

Delivery and Assembly

Delivery Time and Shipping Cost:

Delivery and Assembly:

Attention! The cost of delivery and assembly depends on the type of furniture, delivery address, floor, elevator. Therefore the cost of delivery and assembly is set with the store representative at the time of order confirmation. Payment for supplies and the assembly is paid directly to the carrier on the day of receipt of the goods. Delivery to localities that are far from the center of the country, such as: everything further from Karmiel in the north, everything further from Beersheba in the south and Jerusalem, will charge an additional fee of 150 NIS. Delivery to Eilat will be negotiated individually, having previously checked with a customer service representative. If a crane (manof) is required to transport the goods, the client is obliged to find, order and pay for the crane services himself.

Delivery terms:

Delivery times for each product are specified separately. When calculating delivery times, only working days (from Sunday to Thursday of the week, excluding weekends, bank holidays and public holidays) from the date of receipt of payment from the customer's credit company are taken into account.
There may be delays due to sea delivery when ordering furniture from abroad, which cannot be influenced by the Supplier, in these cases the delivery time will be extended by another 30 working days and will not be considered a delay. However, suppliers make every effort to expedite delivery as much as possible, but, being unable to guarantee this, therefore, the online store is not responsible for any delays.
Furniture from the "Modular Furniture" category is modular, which reserves the right for the Supplier to make delivery as the modules arrive from the factory, within an additional 60 working days after the first delivery of the goods to the customer's home.
