Product Overview

MAJA 130 cm desk with a pedestal

The desk is built from a wide top, a panel support on the left and a pedestal on the right. The pedestal holds one drawer and a compartment behind a door, while the rest of the space under the top stays open and clear of your legs. The whole piece is cashmere.

Who it suits

For a home office and a schoolchild's room: 130 cm carries a laptop, a screen and notebooks at once. It also works as a desk in a bedroom when placed by the window.

What you will like

130 cm of length, fitting a monitor and papers side by side
a stationery drawer in the upper part of the pedestal
a compartment behind a door for binders and boxes
an open leg area on the left where a chair slides in freely
55 cm of depth keeping the screen at a comfortable distance

The 75 cm height is the standard for a writing desk and matches an ordinary office chair. The 55 cm depth lets the screen sit an arm's length from the eyes.

Does the MAJA desk suit a schoolchild? Yes, 75 cm is sized for a teenager and an adult. A younger child will need an adjustable chair and a footrest.

What goes into the desk pedestal? The drawer takes pens, cables and small stationery, while binders, boxes and a ream of paper stand behind the door.

Materials and finish

Laminated board 16 mm in cashmere with the pedestal back in the body colour. Warranty 12 months. BIM Furniture, Poland.

Frequently asked questions

Can the pedestal be moved to the left?
No, its position is fixed by the build: the pedestal is always on the right and the open knee space on the left.

Will the top carry two monitors?
The panel rests on the side and on the pedestal, so the weight of two screens spreads across both supports without sagging.

Delivery and Assembly

Delivery Time and Shipping Cost:

Delivery and Assembly:

Attention! The cost of delivery and assembly depends on the type of furniture, delivery address, floor, elevator. Therefore the cost of delivery and assembly is set with the store representative at the time of order confirmation. Payment for supplies and the assembly is paid directly to the carrier on the day of receipt of the goods. Delivery to localities that are far from the center of the country, such as: everything further from Karmiel in the north, everything further from Beersheba in the south and Jerusalem, will charge an additional fee of 150 NIS. Delivery to Eilat will be negotiated individually, having previously checked with a customer service representative. If a crane (manof) is required to transport the goods, the client is obliged to find, order and pay for the crane services himself.

Delivery terms:

Delivery times for each product are specified separately. When calculating delivery times, only working days (from Sunday to Thursday of the week, excluding weekends, bank holidays and public holidays) from the date of receipt of payment from the customer's credit company are taken into account.
There may be delays due to sea delivery when ordering furniture from abroad, which cannot be influenced by the Supplier, in these cases the delivery time will be extended by another 30 working days and will not be considered a delay. However, suppliers make every effort to expedite delivery as much as possible, but, being unable to guarantee this, therefore, the online store is not responsible for any delays.
Furniture from the "Modular Furniture" category is modular, which reserves the right for the Supplier to make delivery as the modules arrive from the factory, within an additional 60 working days after the first delivery of the goods to the customer's home.
