Dining tables and chairs for self assembly

Fores Habitat dining tables and chairs in Israel

A small subsection: the Spanish factory Fores Habitat concentrates on work and cabinet furniture rather than on dining groups.

What to measure before ordering

Allow 60 cm of length and 40 cm of depth per person. Around the table, on the sides where people walk, you need another 80 to 90 cm: that is what a pulled out chair takes together with the person getting up. If the table extends, look at the open size, because that is what has to fit the room along with a walkway.

Chair height against table height

Between the seat and the underside of the top there should be 27 to 32 cm. A dining table is made about 75 cm high, so it takes a chair with a 45 cm seat.

The choice here is small, and that is fine: the self assembly section is one factory with one focus. If the size you need is missing, the full range of tables and chairs from other factories is in the main sections, and plenty of those also go together in half an hour.
