Coffee tables in stock: low tables for the sofa, shipped without waiting
A coffee table is more often than not a last minute purchase: the sofa is already in place and the space in front of it is empty. That makes the stock section busier here than in other themes.
Matching the height to the sofa
The top should sit level with the sofa seat or 2 to 5 cm below it. Above seat level is awkward: setting down a cup becomes an upward motion. Leave 40 to 45 cm between the edge of the sofa and the table so you can walk past without catching your knees.
Take the length at roughly two thirds of the sofa. A shorter table looks accidental; a longer one blocks the walkway.
This is stock, not a showroom: the quantity of each model is finite. If the table was chosen for a particular sofa and the colour matters, leaving the decision a week is a risk.
