Fabric and colour
The upholstered models made in Israel are covered in dense velvet. It is pleasant to touch, holds its colour and cleans easily: dust comes off with a brush or a vacuum with a soft head, and a fresh stain wipes away without leaving a mark. How do I measure the space?
Measure the free width, not the width of the bed: the pouf should not block a wardrobe door. On models tufted along the sides the outer size is slightly larger than the inner one, so for an exact niche it is worth noting this with the order.
Is velvet hard to clean?
No. Day to day a vacuum with a soft head is enough, and a stain wipes off with a damp cloth working from the edge inwards. The fabric does not soak up dirt the way loose weaves do.
