Chest of drawers for the living room: narrow to wall-wide

Chests of drawers in Israel: narrow, wide and under a window

Widths in this section run roughly from 25 cm to 240 cm, so a chest can be found both for a narrow pier between doors and for a whole free wall.

Chests by the Polish factories MEBLE WJ, HELVETIA, ASM MEBLE, MEBIN and LASKI, plus Israeli makers. Exact dimensions differ by model and are listed on the product page. For a bedroom chest see Bedroom chests, for a television TV stands, for a child room Children chests.

In a living room a chest works less like a wardrobe and more like a working surface with storage: a television, a lamp or photographs on top, and out-of-sight things inside. That is why two questions decide the choice: how much room is left on the top, and what suits you better inside – drawers or doors.

Drawers or doors

What is inside	Why people choose it	What it gives you
Drawers	Small items, papers, linen	Everything is visible at once, with no reaching into the depth.
Doors	Large and rarely used things	Shelves inside, tall objects fit.
Both	Mixed storage	The common living room choice: small things above, bulky below.

Choosing the width

Narrow models go into a pier or a hallway, medium ones stand beside the sofa, and wide ones are often taken instead of a TV stand. If the chest sits under a screen, work the width from the television diagonal: the chest should be wider than the stand, otherwise the arrangement looks unstable.

Delivery and assembly

We deliver across Israel; delivery and assembly are priced by address and floor and shown on the product page. A TV stand from the same range is in TV stands.
