FLY N1: two pieces for a short wall, Hickory Jackson

The short version of the range, 160 centimetres of wall instead of 260. Two pieces only: a hanging unit with the burner and a solid cabinet above it. The floor stays completely clear and the room reads wider than it is.

What it consists of

A lower unit with a metal bioethanol insert and closed compartments either side of the flame. The upper cabinet is solid, its flap rises on a gas strut and holds two compartments. The top surface doubles as a shelf for a plant or a frame.

Who it suits

A living room with a short wall: the stretch between a window and a door, an alcove, a rented flat with drilling limits. It also goes into a second room that needs a screen and somewhere for small things where a full length set will not go.

Materials and finish

Laminated chipboard, body and fronts in a decor, a light timber tone with a calm pattern, matt coating. No glass and no lighting, one flat plane across the width. Built by ASM Meble in Poland, guaranteed for twelve months.

What screen will stand on it?
The width is 160 centimetres, a television up to 55 inches sits comfortably with room at the sides.

Does the flap drop?
The gas strut holds it: the front stops when raised and lowers gently.

Frequently asked questions

Is it suitable for a child room?
Storage is closed and glass free, though we would not put a live flame in a child room.

How deep is the unit?
40 centimetres, a set-top box and a soundbar fit fully.

More about this piece

Laminated chipboard

Wood particles pressed into a solid board and faced with laminate on both sides. The workhorse of cabinet furniture: holds its shape, tolerates everyday moisture, wipes clean.

Matt finish

No reflections, and it hides fingerprints and light scratches. In a small room it reads calmer than gloss.

Wall-mounted

Fixed to the wall with clear floor beneath: easier cleaning, lighter-looking room. Fixings depend on your wall type and are not supplied.

Made in Poland

Shipped straight from the factory, built to European furniture manufacturing standards.
