Product Overview

GINTARO 56 cm narrow module: a slatted front over its full height

A narrow tall cupboard, 56 cm across the front, 63 deep and 203 high. The face is laid out entirely in vertical oak slats and carries no handles at all, the leaf releases under the palm. Inside there is a dark carcass with a rail and shelves, outside the piece reads as one continuous wooden plane.

What it consists of

a tall leaf fronted in oak slats
a lower leaf with a structured or smooth front
a hanging rail and shelves inside a dark carcass
push to open, no handles anywhere
four slim legs in black matt metal

Who it suits

For a hallway, a bedroom or a living room that needs closed volume where a full wardrobe will not fit. At 63 cm deep it takes hangers across, so a coat goes in, not only folded clothes. A pair of these columns flanking a wall unit reads as a single front.

Materials and finish

The base material is solid oak with furniture board in natural oak veneer, one shade across the whole range, natural oak lager. There are no handles, the fronts release under a push, the push to open system. Legs and plinth are black matt metal and the surface is lacquered. The inner walls are dark, so the wooden shelves read against them. Made by MEBIN, Poland.

Frequently asked questions

Do hangers fit across the inside?
They do, the 63 cm depth is meant for a rail with ordinary hangers.

Why are there no handles?
The front opens under a push, which lets the slats run as one unbroken field.

Is it steady on its own?
It is, though at 203 cm the wall anchor supplied with it must be used.

What separates the left from the right one?
The hinge side: the left leaf swings left, the right one swings right.
