Mattresses 140x190 cm

Buy best and quality Mattresses 140x190 products

140x190 cm is the most common double size in Israel. Most locally made beds are built for it, so when you replace an old mattress and keep the bed, this is usually the size you need.

Who this size suits

Two adults up to roughly 185 cm tall. Each person gets 70 cm of width: enough not to disturb one another, while the bed still does not swallow the bedroom. If one of you is taller, look at the 200 cm length instead.

190 or 200: what is the difference

Two size standards live side by side in Israel. Local beds are built for a 190 cm length, European ones for 200 cm. The gap is only ten centimetres, but a mattress of the wrong length either will not fit the frame or will slide inside it.

Checking is simple: measure the inner size of the frame, from rail to rail, not the bed from the outside. If you get about 141 by 191, your size is 140x190.

Choosing firmness

It comes down to habit and weight. Back and stomach sleepers usually prefer firm and medium-firm. Side sleepers more often want medium: the shoulder and hip sink gently into the top layer while the spine stays straight. For a couple with a noticeable weight difference, look at pocket springs, where each person feels their own half rather than their partner's movement.

What they are made of

The catalogue has four families: spring, foam, latex and Visco. Spring mattresses breathe well and carry weight. Foam and Visco gently take the shape of the body. Latex is springy and outlasts the others, and it is the coolest choice for the Israeli climate.

Production and delivery

The mattresses are made in Israel, so 140x190 is available for almost every model in the catalogue and nothing has to be shipped from Europe. The exact delivery time is shown on the product page, and the cost is calculated by address.
