Product Overview

MONDI 180: a smooth handleless front and fire in the middle

MONDI keeps its fronts smooth and free of any trim: the doors open on a push and the grain runs unbroken from edge to edge. Only the fireplace insert in the middle interrupts it. Artisan oak.

Who it suits

For anyone who finds reeded and milled fronts too busy. Here the board itself supplies the whole pattern, and the fire holds the attention.

What you will like

a handleless system: the front opens on a push
two closed shelves either side of the insert
legs of a distinctive shape with a support at mid-span
a smooth front that shows the grain of the decor
an insert with frameless glass

Length 180 cm, depth 40 cm, height 58 cm. It will not get deeper than that: 40 cm is set so the insert goes fully in and room stays behind it for the lead.

How does MONDI differ from NUKA with a fireplace? The sizes and the insert are the same; the front differs. MONDI is smooth and opens on a push, NUKA has recessed box handles. The difference is only in how the door looks and opens.

Will push to open work loose? The pusher adjusts with a screw on the hinge. If a door starts to release weakly it is tightened in a minute.

Materials and finish

Laminated board and 16 mm MDF, HDF back panel, ABS edging. Carcass and fronts in artisan oak, frame in black matt. The electric insert is included: 1800 to 2000 W, a remote and a control panel, flame control, a thermostat of 17 to 27 °C, timers and an open-window sensor, a fuel bed of burning logs. No flue is needed; the insert measures 58.4 by 13 by 43.6 cm. Warranty 24 months on the insert and 12 on the furniture. BIM Furniture, Poland.

Frequently asked questions

Is the insert visible when the fireplace is off?
It is: the decorative logs stay behind the glass. The black glass does not glare and reads as a dark panel set into the front.

Can the unit stand against a wooden wall?
It can. The back panel does not heat; warmth leaves forward through the grille. Still leave a couple of centimetres for the lead.

Delivery and Assembly

Delivery Time and Shipping Cost:

Delivery and Assembly:

Attention! The cost of delivery and assembly depends on the type of furniture, delivery address, floor, elevator. Therefore the cost of delivery and assembly is set with the store representative at the time of order confirmation. Payment for supplies and the assembly is paid directly to the carrier on the day of receipt of the goods. Delivery to localities that are far from the center of the country, such as: everything further from Karmiel in the north, everything further from Beersheba in the south and Jerusalem, will charge an additional fee of 150 NIS. Delivery to Eilat will be negotiated individually, having previously checked with a customer service representative. If a crane (manof) is required to transport the goods, the client is obliged to find, order and pay for the crane services himself.

Delivery terms:

Delivery times for each product are specified separately. When calculating delivery times, only working days (from Sunday to Thursday of the week, excluding weekends, bank holidays and public holidays) from the date of receipt of payment from the customer's credit company are taken into account.
There may be delays due to sea delivery when ordering furniture from abroad, which cannot be influenced by the Supplier, in these cases the delivery time will be extended by another 30 working days and will not be considered a delay. However, suppliers make every effort to expedite delivery as much as possible, but, being unable to guarantee this, therefore, the online store is not responsible for any delays.
Furniture from the "Modular Furniture" category is modular, which reserves the right for the Supplier to make delivery as the modules arrive from the factory, within an additional 60 working days after the first delivery of the goods to the customer's home.
