Product Overview

NUKA 180: fire at the centre, a support under the middle of the top

NUKA rests on shapely legs with one more support added at mid-span: under the weight of the insert and a television a top nearly two metres long would otherwise flex. The fire burns at the centre with two closed shelves at the sides. Artisan oak.

Who it suits

Where the television hangs on the wall and the space below it asks for something alive. The unit covers almost two metres of wall and replaces both a stand for equipment and a fireplace.

What you will like

an extra support at mid-span besides the legs at the corners
two closed side shelves either side of the fire
black box handles let flush into the front
an insert with frameless glass at the centre of the carcass
artisan oak with a visible board grain

It measures 180 by 40 cm and stands 58 cm tall. Of those 180 cm the insert takes 58.4 cm in the middle, leaving roughly 60 cm for each side section.

Why does the NUKA unit have a support in the middle? The insert weighs over five kilograms and the television above it more. Across 180 cm a top without a central support bows in time; with one it does not.

What are box handles? Flat recessed bars in black metal finish, set flush into the front and gripped from above. The face stays smooth.

Materials and finish

16 mm laminated board, ABS edging, HDF back panel, legs in laminated board. Carcass and fronts in artisan oak. The electric insert is included: 1800 to 2000 W, a remote and a control panel, flame control, a thermostat of 17 to 27 °C, timers and an open-window sensor, a fuel bed of burning logs. No flue is needed; the insert measures 58.4 by 13 by 43.6 cm. Warranty 24 months on the insert and 12 on the furniture. BIM Furniture, Poland.

Frequently asked questions

Is the fireplace noisy?
You hear the heater fan while it runs. In flame-only mode the unit works in silence.

How much electricity does the fireplace use?
Up to 2 kW when heating, like an ordinary fan heater. Flame alone draws only a few watts.

Delivery and Assembly

Delivery Time and Shipping Cost:

Delivery and Assembly:

Attention! The cost of delivery and assembly depends on the type of furniture, delivery address, floor, elevator. Therefore the cost of delivery and assembly is set with the store representative at the time of order confirmation. Payment for supplies and the assembly is paid directly to the carrier on the day of receipt of the goods. Delivery to localities that are far from the center of the country, such as: everything further from Karmiel in the north, everything further from Beersheba in the south and Jerusalem, will charge an additional fee of 150 NIS. Delivery to Eilat will be negotiated individually, having previously checked with a customer service representative. If a crane (manof) is required to transport the goods, the client is obliged to find, order and pay for the crane services himself.

Delivery terms:

Delivery times for each product are specified separately. When calculating delivery times, only working days (from Sunday to Thursday of the week, excluding weekends, bank holidays and public holidays) from the date of receipt of payment from the customer's credit company are taken into account.
There may be delays due to sea delivery when ordering furniture from abroad, which cannot be influenced by the Supplier, in these cases the delivery time will be extended by another 30 working days and will not be considered a delay. However, suppliers make every effort to expedite delivery as much as possible, but, being unable to guarantee this, therefore, the online store is not responsible for any delays.
Furniture from the "Modular Furniture" category is modular, which reserves the right for the Supplier to make delivery as the modules arrive from the factory, within an additional 60 working days after the first delivery of the goods to the customer's home.
