Oliwia E armchair 74 cm – wood and fabric in one side panel

An armchair whose side panel is built from two materials at once: wood alternating with upholstery fabric. Underneath runs the wooden base on which every piece of the collection stands. The factory describes the finish in one word: elegant.

Who it suits

An interior that already has wood in it (parquet, a wooden table, window frames): the E armchair picks that material up rather than arguing with it. And anyone who does not want a soft sack: the seat here is shallow at 53 cm, an upright way of sitting.

Size and what to keep in mind

At 53 cm the seat is the shallowest among the Oliwia family armchairs (H is 56 cm, M also 56). That means an upright seat: comfortable to sit straight in, but not to sprawl or tuck your feet up. If you want a chair to sink into, look at M or H. The seat height of 43 cm is ordinary and easy to rise from.

Fabric and finish

The upholstery is chosen from the full UNIMEBEL fabric catalogue, four groups to pick from. Full-size colour samples are on this page, and the price depends on the group.

How does the Oliwia E side panel differ from the other models? On D the wood is set in as a facing, on H it carries cut-outs, on M it is bent. On E the panel is built up: wooden parts alternate with fabric, and a wooden base runs under the whole piece.

Is the base visible when the chair stands against a wall? Yes, it runs along the entire bottom and reads from every side. That makes the wood colour matter more here than on models with facings: you see more of it.
