Cabinet furniture

SWITCH XX wall unit: three displays over a continuous base, black gloss with Wotan oak

Closing the first twenty: three square display cabinets above, two units butted together below and a short shelf to the side. The size comes to 330 by 160 centimetres.

What the set includes and what fits inside

A square WW 3 wall display cabinet, 60 by 60 centimetres and 30 deep. A glazed door with a shelf inside. What separates it from the square cabinet is exactly the glass: the contents stay on view. The set includes three of them.

An RTV 2 television unit 120 centimetres long, 30 high and 40 deep. The front drops on struts with two compartments inside. Two of them hang in one line to make a base 240 centimetres long. The set includes two of them.

A PW 2 wall shelf 120 centimetres long and 20 deep. It hangs separately at any height and serves for books or small decor.

How it reads on the wall

Three displays sit above while two units form a continuous line beneath, a short shelf closing the end. Overall 330 in width, 160 in height, 40 in depth.

Who it suits

A long wall that wants display cabinets without losing room for equipment: three square displays above and 240 centimetres of closed volume below.

Long sets for Israeli living rooms are ordered online: a composition this size is seldom shown whole in a showroom.

Materials and finish

Carcass and fronts in 18 millimetre laminated chipboard with edging all round. Decor black gloss with Wotan oak. The unit fronts are milled: diagonal grooves in the same decor run across the surface, giving relief and shadow. No module carries a handle: everything opens on a press, so the fronts read as continuous planes. Blue LED lighting is included in the set and in its price: it sits inside the display cabinets and lights the glass shelves. ASM Meble factory, Poland.

More about this piece

Laminated chipboard

Wood particles pressed into a solid board and faced with laminate on both sides. The workhorse of cabinet furniture: holds its shape, tolerates everyday moisture, wipes clean.

Gloss finish

Reflects light and makes a piece look lighter. Fingerprints show more on dark gloss, so it needs wiping more often.

Milled front

The pattern is cut into the panel itself rather than glued on, so it is felt by hand and cannot come away.

Wall-mounted

Fixed to the wall with clear floor beneath: easier cleaning, lighter-looking room. Fixings depend on your wall type and are not supplied.

Made in Poland

Shipped straight from the factory, built to European furniture manufacturing standards.
