Product Overview
KORA Chest of Drawers 128 cm – four drawers between two doors, light pine
A wide chest that combines two kinds of storage at once: closed compartments behind doors at each end and a column of four drawers in the middle. The result covers a room on its own, with bulky things behind the doors and everything small divided between the drawers. Cornice, panelling and shaped feet hold the classic line of the collection.
In light Andersen pine the same width feels calmer: the chest takes over a metre of wall without making the room feel tighter.
Who it suits
For a living room in place of a sideboard: tableware and linen behind the doors, cutlery and small items in the drawers. For a bedroom as the main storage beside the wardrobe. For a generous hallway that needs both closed volume and drawers for keys, gloves and papers.
What you will like
- Four drawers in the central column and two closed compartments at the sides
- 128 cm wide at 46 cm deep: a broad storage front that does not eat the walkway
- A top over a metre long, with room for a lamp, a vase and frames together
- A moulded cornice and panelled fronts
- Metal handles in a gold finish
- The KN4 top unit of the same width fits this chest: together they make a sideboard
Sizes and what fits
128 cm wide, 46 cm deep, 97 cm tall. The side compartments take boxes, stacks of bedding and tableware, while the central drawers hold small items, cutlery and documents. Add the KN4 top unit and the chest becomes a sideboard almost two metres tall.
Materials and build
Laminated chipboard with banded edges and a surface that withstands damp cleaning. Hardware is metal, handles in a gold finish. GALA MEBLE of Poland has been in production since 1980. Warranty 12 months.
Why choose one 128 cm chest over two narrow ones? For the single top. Two 88 cm chests give the same volume, but they leave a join between them and produce two separate surfaces instead of one long one. In a living room that difference shows.
What is a top unit and why would you want one? It is an upper section with glazed doors that stands directly on the chest. In KORA the KN4 unit matches KK3 in width. Together they form a sideboard: closed storage below, a display cabinet above for tableware or books.
Assembly and delivery
The chest arrives flat-packed and unassembled, with instructions and fittings. It is a large piece and six fronts need aligning, so assembly is nearly always ordered with delivery. The fitter builds it in place and removes the packaging. Delivery and assembly are quoted by address.
Frequently asked
Does it arrive assembled?
No, it ships unassembled with instructions and fixings. For a piece this wide, assembly is best ordered with the delivery.
Is the top unit included?
No, KN4 is sold as a separate item. The chest works on its own, and the top unit is added when you want a full sideboard.
Will it fit through the doorway?
Yes, it travels flat-packed and is built in the room itself, so nothing has to be carried through whole.
We deliver across Israel. To Rishon LeZion and Rehovot the chest arrives together with assembly, to Beer Sheva and the south on the delivery schedule.
Delivery and Assembly
Delivery Time and Shipping Cost:
Delivery and Assembly:
Attention! The cost of delivery and assembly depends on the type of furniture, delivery address, floor, elevator. Therefore the cost of delivery and assembly is set with the store representative at the time of order confirmation. Payment for supplies and the assembly is paid directly to the carrier on the day of receipt of the goods. Delivery to localities that are far from the center of the country, such as: everything further from Karmiel in the north, everything further from Beersheba in the south and Jerusalem, will charge an additional fee of 150 NIS. Delivery to Eilat will be negotiated individually, having previously checked with a customer service representative. If a crane (manof) is required to transport the goods, the client is obliged to find, order and pay for the crane services himself.
Delivery times for each product are specified separately. When calculating delivery times, only working days (from Sunday to Thursday of the week, excluding weekends, bank holidays and public holidays) from the date of receipt of payment from the customer's credit company are taken into account.
There may be delays due to sea delivery when ordering furniture from abroad, which cannot be influenced by the Supplier, in these cases the delivery time will be extended by another 30 working days and will not be considered a delay. However, suppliers make every effort to expedite delivery as much as possible, but, being unable to guarantee this, therefore, the online store is not responsible for any delays.
Furniture from the "Modular Furniture" category is modular, which reserves the right for the Supplier to make delivery as the modules arrive from the factory, within an additional 60 working days after the first delivery of the goods to the customer's home.
